Appointments and Insurance

Dr. Spalding is available for consultation and treatment. Appointments are booked one month in advance and require a deposit (1/3 of fee) to ensure space and availability.  Cancellation requires 24 hour notice for the deposit to be returned. If 24 hour notice is not given then the remaining 2/3 balance will be due.

Appointments are:

  • Students - 10 and under - 60 minutes
  • Students - 10 and 18 - 90 minutes
  • Adults - 19 and above - 120 minutes
  • Intensive Therapy - 3-5 consecutive days, 9:00 a.m. - 12: p.m. or
    1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.


Insurance forms are submitted by the individual client and are NOT handled through our office.

PRIVATE SESSIONS

Dr. Spalding uses many different and wonderful processes that comprise Educational Kinesiology, MNRI and Brain Gym protocols offered in private sessions. Contact her to arrange a session suited to your unique needs.

A private session typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes and starts with you choosing a goal: something you wish to accomplish, or some potential within yourself that you would like to develop. The following are examples of goals people choose:

  • To easily organize and write down my ideas.
  • To read faster and remember what I read.
  • To feel confident in front of an audience.
  • To complete a project that I have started.
  • To take on a new challenge with energy and enthusiasm.


She will then guide you through a process of choosing and performing the activities that will best meet your needs. These activities, which may range from small movements of your eyes or hands to easy whole-body movements, allow you to access the skills, abilities and mental attitudes you will need to accomplish your goal.

This Edu-K process, called a "balance," is complete when you feel and demonstrate improvement in your goal-related learning and performance abilities. Most people notice some kind of change almost immediately, so sometimes a single session is enough to experience the desired change. Brain Gym is a very cost effective process that allows you to easily and rapidly accomplish your goals.
